Daley wins Gold

‘Daley’ wins Gold (of course, he always does!) at the Sports Business Awards 2024, for Most Successful Sports Broadcast.

A first gong for the Mob’s feature documentary about Britain’s greatest Olympian at the SBA24’s.  Hosted by Colin Murray the film fended off Darts coverage and the Sven Goran Erickson documentary to take the top prize.

The Mob’s director Vadim said, ‘I was most nervous about being sat next to Daley at the lunch if we didn’t win… Thank God he always does.’

The judges said it is great to see what is still achievable on smaller budgets in the broadcasting world and telling a great sportsperson’s story at the same time.

A film that captures the story of one of the country’s greatest Olympians and helps show the real substance behind the story. 

A powerful story of one of Britain’s most successful sports performers.
